Rincon - Late Fall West Swell. 24" x36". Acrylic on canvas. I painted this from my memory banks. Stopped at Rincon on my way home from UCSB in 1981. It was an unforgettable day: Offshore breezes and a clean west swell. It was a late afternoon-to-dark session. I was riding a single fin Bessell that Tim shaped me in 1979. It worked magically in the head-high plus waves.
